If you are NOT running SR7 and you have node-locked Origin/OriginPro, then please complete the following steps:
  1. Download the Origin/OriginPro 7.5 SR7 installation file from the OriginLab website and save this file to your computer's hard disk or a networked drive. See the download links in the "Installation" information above.
  2. Log into the computer as an Administrator and run the downloaded file to start the Origin installation. You will see options to Modify, Remove or Repair. Select REPAIR and complete the Repair process.
  3. Run Origin/OriginPro as an Administrator as discussed above and use the License Information dialog box that opens to obtain the license file from the OriginLab website.

Peak Fitting Module (PFM) for OriginPro Users

If you selected your User Files folder as the default c:\Users\<login name>\AppData\...then installing the PFM will work without any problems.

However, if you selected your User Files folder as the Custom Folder c:\Progam Files\OriginLab\..., you will need to run Origin as an Administrator to install the PFM (see the License Management section for instructions). Furthermore, you will need to select Tools:Pack/Unpack OPK Files to unpack the PFM. Drag-n-drop or double-click will not work.
